Linda Hartka-Reiss has always
loved glass and fiber arts. She works in her home studio creating “lampwork” beads which she fashions into jewelry.
The beads are formed from Murano Italian glass melted and “wound” in an oxygen propane torch and then kiln fired,
creating a fascinating chemical interaction of various colors of glass, particularly when silver or gold are part of the mix.
